Aware of Sancho's blow-up with United manager Erik ten Hag, Dortmund wish to offer their former winger an escape route.
The Sun says United rejected a loan approach from Dortmund in January.
Yet they plan to launch a new move in the next window if Sancho fails to make peace with Ten Hag.
