Getafe coach Jose Bordalas says Mason Greenwood will be stronger for his debut on Sunday.

The on-loan Manchester United striker was a second-half substitute as Getafe defeated Osasuna.

Bordalas later reflected: "We are very happy with Diego Rico, Oscar and the boy. We are happy because he has adapted quickly. A debut means that he has integrated. They are going to help us. The team has been daring.

"He has pleasantly surprised us, it has been a complicated game and moment. There was a lot of back and forth. He has helped in offensive tasks, he has been very supportive. We are working with patience and calmness, he has not played for many months. Today will have been a very special day for him. What the footballer wants is to compete and play. We have seen the response of the fans and his teammates. We have to be calm. The participation has been notable.

"I'm talking about sports, I'm left with the expectations of the fans and everyone. He is a great player, we are confident that he can help us.

"He is going to be very positive for Getafe and Spanish football.

"We are very happy, he is very integrated for such a short period. The language is a handicap, he is with a teacher to try to speed up learning Spanish to have better contact with his teammates. He is having a remarkable start, we are very happy and content.
