Bologna coach Motta pleased with Copap win; highlights Urbanski

Bologna coach Thiago Motta was happy with their Coppa Italia win against Verona.

Bologna won 2-0 in the round of 32 tie. Nikola Moro and Sydney van Hooijdonk scored the goals.

Motta later said: "It's normal that it takes a while to mix players who haven't played much together. In the first half the boys got to know each other and in the second they exploited their teammates more.

"We still had a difficult team up front to face one-on-one, and in the second half we were also better in our movements without the ball. I'm very happy for all the players who have played a little less today

On Kacper Urbanski, he continued: "Today he plays in the Primavera with Luca Vigiani, and it was with him that he started playing as a winger. He knows how to make his teammates play well, he moves the ball well and is an intelligent player.

"I hope for him that he continues to work like this and that he always finds more space. I like him a lot. Tonight in the short time he played he demonstrated his qualities."
