Bologna coach Thiago Motta insists they can build on their 1-1 draw with Sampdoria.
The Rossoblu had taken the lead at the Stadio Dall'Ara through Nico Dominguez, but Filip Djuricic earned a point for Samp with his header.
“It was a good start, we did well in the first half, using the ball and space well, creating chances, but we lost some of that calm on the ball and didn't attack the space as much after the break," Motta told Sky Italia.
“We went too deep, Sampdoria got more possession and gained confidence. We need to work together to avoid certain situations from developing, which make us concede avoidable goals."
There's many fans still upset with the sacking of Motta's predecessor Sinisa Mihajlovic.
The coach added, "Sinisa is part of Bologna's history, I have great respect for the man, so this is a moment in which we need to stick together and give our all to emerge from this situation with our quality and spirit."
