Boca Juniors aren't giving up on signing released AS Roma icon Daniele de Rossi.

De Rossi is said to be in talks with LA FC in the US.

“A lot's been said about De Rossi, I know him and he's opened his doors to coming here," Boca sporting director but Nicolas Burdisso told Closs Continental.

“[Him coming] would be the icing on the cake. I think Daniele can play for Boca. I know him well, I was with him for five years.

“He rates the team highly and watches all our games. There are things here that can't be found in China and MLS, like the passion of the fans."
