Liverpool midfielder Mateusz Musialowski is a serious target for Birmingham City this month.

The 20-year-old, who many fans have called the Polish Messi, is an exceptional dribbler.

Per The Mail, Liverpool may have to lose Musialowski, as he wants regular game time.

The attacker, who is out of contract at the end of the season, would play regularly at the Championship club.

Birmingham boss Tony Mawbray wants to ensure he has a squad capable of moving up the table.

Reds youth coach Barry Lewtas praised Musialowski recently, stating: “He's been brilliant. This season, in terms of his level of consistency, without question it has risen.

“He's taking more responsibility for his all-round game and he commits to every phase of the game now.

“Defensively he's strong and buying in. No-one can doubt his ability to dribble the ball, he can dribble past most, but he is finding a real consistency in his game."
