Christian Benteke was over the moon after scoring on debut for Liverpool on Sunday.

The Belgian striker, who joined the Reds from Aston Villa for £32.5million recently, marked his first appearance for his new club with a stunning 20-yard volley in a 2-1 friendly win at the County Ground.

Benteke was absolutely delighted with his brilliant beginning for the Merseyside outfit and took to Twitter to thank the club and the fans for granting him such a warm reception upon his arrival.
