Andrea Belotti is delighted with his move to AS Roma.
The former Torino captain was presented to the local press this morning.
Belotti said, "In July, there was a first contact, an interest with the director (Tiago Pinto).
"At the same time the Roma striker pool was full and it couldn't be done. Last week we had another call to see if we could wait 72 hours and I gave immediately my availability. After these 72 hours the director called and in 2-3 days everything was done.
"I saw the Conference party and we saw the union between Roma and its people.
"Playing together with (Tammy) Abraham is more like a chance to grow. It stimulates me to do more and more.
"I have met with Paulo (Dybala) and it was nice to meet him. We left Palermo together, we were both in Turin but in opposite teams and then we found ourselves here. In Palermo we were two kids, now we have reached a level of maturity that has jumped in the eyes of both."
On his debut in victory over Monza, Belotti added: "The stadium gives me a magical feeling. It was nice to experience everything that happened, because I was there waiting and I felt the fans looking for me. It was like feeling the affection of the people on my skin.
"I did not expect such a sell out, it was beautiful. The atmosphere, my entrance, the anthem before the match: it was like living a dream. It would have been perfect with my goal, but I will always remember it."
