Belgium to pass on Arsenal legend Henry

Belgium are not interested in making Thierry Henry their next head coach after the World Cup.

The Red Devils sacked long serving manager Roberto Martinez after the 2022 tournament in Qatar.

Martinez is now in charge of the Portuguese national team, but Henry is unlikely to be his replacement for Belgium.

That is according to Nieuwsblad, who state that candidates are being assessed at present.

Belgium will look at the available options, assess how a manager's vision would fit with their squad, and then make a decision.

Previous media reports had stated the likes of Romelu Lukaku were behind the possible appointment of Henry.
