Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has ruled out signing David de Gea.

The released Manchester United goalkeeper had held talks with Bayern and approved the move.

But Tuchel decided against the deal with Manuel Neuer returning from his broken leg injury.

Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg reports: "FC Bayern will also not sign David De Gea. It's decided.

"Tuchel has vetoed it, especially since a return of Manuel Neuer is expected within the next few weeks.

"Talks with De Gea took place. He was willing to join FC Bayern. But it's off now."
