Bayern Munich chairman Uli Hoeness admits RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhüttl is under consideration.
Hasenhüttl made news earlier this month when revealing he was aware that Arsenal were considering him as a successor for Arsene Wenger.
"If we were to choose a German coach, one of the three candidates would definitely be Hasenhüttl," said Hoeness.
"For now it is not a hot topic, however, first let him earn the right experience."
Regarding Arsenal, Hasenhutti stated: "There was a lot of truth to it.
"I have heard of worse fates than succeeding the longest-serving manager in England. It's not damaging my reputation, is it?"
