Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong says the target is for the club to rid itself of their yo-yo reputation.
Staying up is their main target for the new season, says the Cameroon international.
"I hope we will stay in the Premier League and try to be settled as a proper Premier League team," Bassong told Sky Sports News.
"We will try to improve the squad and our game and that's the main target. Last year we finished 11th and we want to get around this position again and why not higher?
"The club have added two new faces (striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Hooper). They are quality players and they are really good lads and have settled in well. We all hope we're going to start well."
