Barnsley have snapped up released Swansea City winger David Cotterill.

Barnsley have signed midfielder Cotterill for the rest of the season, subject to international clearance.

The 24-year-old left Swansea in January and should be available to face Portsmouth on Saturday.

Barnsley boss Keith Hill said: "It's a no-brainer."
