Barcelona wing-back Sergi Roberto was delighted with their 4-1 defeat of Alaves.

The versatile Catalan expressed his happiness at going into the winter break with a win in what was their final game of 2019.

"In the first half we were very comfortable; the opponent practically didn't cross the middle third," Roberto said.

"When they scored, we managed to get back into the game and score another quick goal.

"They [usually] play with two strikers and against us they played with one.

"We moved the ball well, attacking the spaces.

"It was important to win in the last game [of the year].

"We're going on holidays happy and now we have to enjoy [ourselves]."
