Barcelona are willing to use Samuel Umtiti in negotiations for Bayern Munich fullback David Alaba.

Barca are in the market for a fullback signing and their search has led to Austria international Alaba.

Knowing Bayern are struggling at the back after allowing Mats Hummels to return to Borussia Dortmund and the imminent departure of Jerome Boateng.

As such, Le 10 Sport says Barca hope to use Umtiti as part of negotiations for Alaba.

World Cup winner Umtiti lost his first-choice status at Barca last season and is no longer a priority player for coach Ernesto Valverde.
