PSG star Neymar has given up on returning to Barcelona.

The Catalan giants were hopeful of completing a deal worth up to £236million before the deadline on September 2.

That move included £182m in cash plus Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo, as well as Ousmane Dembele on a season-long loan.

But the deal remained hugely complicated with speculation that Dembele had no desire to spend the year in Paris with the French giants.

And according to Sky Sports, PSG have pulled the plug on any move after Neymar agreed to "fulfil the remainder of his contract and commitments".

Last night PSG sporting director Leonardo hinted that a move had hit a snag because the terms "didn't suit" them.
