Barcelona target Lewandowski announces Bayern Munich departure

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has publicly confirmed reports he is leaving this summer.

The Polish striker arrived from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, but now wants to move on and try a new challenge.

After scoring during Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg on the final day of the Bundesliga season, his league-leading 35th goal of the campaign, Lewandowski revealed that he might have already played his final game for the club.

"It's very possible that this was my last game for Bayern Munich," he said in a post-match interview.

"I cannot say that at 100 percent, but it may have been.

"We want to find the best solution for me and for the club."

Barcelona are in talks with Bayern about a deal for the Pole.
