Barcelona return mooted for Messi after Inter Miami flop

A return to Barcelona in January has been raised for Leo Messi.

With Inter Miami facing the prospect of missing the MLS playoffs, it will mean Messi kicking his heels for four months before the start of the new season.

With World Cup qualifiers to navigate with Argentina, Messi wants to stay in shape and a loan move in January is a realistic option.

And a return to Barca has been mooted, says Ok Diario.

The Argentina captain would be open to the move, though Barca are yet to make contact with the player's camp.

Meanwhile, Tribalfootball.com's transfer expert Rudy Galetti has reported the Saudi Pro League are also in contact about a similar arrangement.
