Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been offered to Barcelona.

The Dutchman has been proposed to Barca after the Catalans were snubbed by former Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum. Wijnaldum was in Bosman talks with Barca for several months before eventually committing to PSG and a superior contract offer.

As such, reports Mundo Deportivo, agents have offered Van de Beek to Barca as an alternative.

However, with Barca in no position to put forward a cash offer, they instead suggested Samuel Umtiti in a swap for the midfielder. The Blaugrana are eager to clear Umtiti's wages off their books and are encouraging United to take him off their hands in exchange for Van de Beek.
