Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists he wants Pedri and Francisco Trincao to be part of the first team next season.
Pedri was signed in August before being loaned back to Las Palmas, while Trincao is on-loan with Braga after being signed from the Portuguese in February.
Bartomeu confirmed: "I really want to see Trincao and Pedri here (next season)."
The president was then asked about re-signing Neymar from PSG.
"It is unlikely," he responded. "On an economic level it is a difficult summer for the big clubs. And now everyone is seeing how it can restructure after the pandemic."
Bartomeu also was asked for an update on their pursuit of Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, with claims his €111m buyout clause was due to expire this week.
He added: "We will talk about transfers when the season ends. If Lautaro's term ends today, it will have ended today. We will make assessments when he plays, and now we are not here to sign any player. We are focused on the LaLiga and then on the Champions League."
