Barcelona players delighted after hitting Inter Miami for six

Barcelona cruised to a 6-0 win at Inter Miami for their first friendly of their US preseason tour.

It was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who handed them the lead.

The Gabon forward was set up by new arrival Raphinha, who started for the first time, along with fellow signing centre-back Andreas Christensen, and Aubameyang chipped home.

Raphinha netted the second himself when Alejandro Balde's deep cross found him at the back post.

Then he helped set up Ansu Fati for the third with a pass into the box which the youngster lashed home with aplomb.

In the second half Oscar Hernandez - on the bench with Xavi not yet allowed to travel - made 11 changes and his team continued to add to their lead.

Memphis played a clever low corner for Gavi to smash into the top corner for the fourth.

The fifth game from a piece of genius from Memphis, leaving his marker for dead and tucking home.

Then Ousmane Dembele got in on the act, stroking home the sixth from the edge of the box.

Afterwards, Barca defender Eric Garcia said: "I think that starting our preseason tour like this is important. We've had great opportunities for everybody. we have to continue this way to be at our best for our debut in LaLiga.

"It's a pleasure. It's amazing and it tells us just how great this country is... I hope we have the same support in Las Vegas."

He went on to praise his newest teammate, Robert Lewandowski, who's on the verge of making his debut for FC Barcelona, possibly this weekend against Real Madrid.

"I think that as a defender is best to have Lewandowski on your team. He's a world class forward. I'm pretty sure that he'll help us a lot. I hope he can start helping us as soon as possible."
