Barcelona have offered Philippe Coutinho to Manchester United.

Sport says the former Liverpool star has been offered to United ahead of the January market.

Barca directors Mateu Alemany and Ferran Reverter were in Manchester last week for transfer talks with United and neighbours Manchester City.

And during their meeting with United, Alemany and Reverter offered Coutinho.

For his part, the Brazil midfielder is reluctant to leave Nou Camp during the winter transfer window.
