Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho is being linked with a return to Liverpool.

Mundo Deportivo says Coutinho's agent, Kia Joorabchian, is working behind the scenes to orchestrate a deal with Liverpool as the player is on the Anfield club's 'agenda', with Tottenham also interested in the Brazilian midfielder.

Coutinho is on manager Jurgen Klopp's 'radar', but there is a stipulation that will determine whether they make an official move for the 29-year-old.

If the Reds lose one of their key players before now and the end of the transfer window then he would look into replacing them with their former player.

Liverpool could now land their former player for a fraction of the price they sold him for, with reports he will cost less than the add-ons that were included in his deal to Barcelona.
