Barcelona legend Xavi supports the club's recent transfer work.

Xavi regards highly Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.

He told RMC: "There are good recruits like Dembelé and Coutinho.

"Play them with (Lionel) Messi and (Luis) Suarez? Of course it's possible. Coutinho can play very well in the middle. Good players must be on the field, those who can make the difference, and after (Ernesto) Valverde will have to find a balance.

"But of course they can play together. In any case, Coutinho and Dembelé are extraordinary recruits for Barça."
