Barcelona fullback Sergi Roberto says Real Madrid's return to form is no surprise.

Los Blancos' derby win over Atletico Madrid sees them six points off the Catalans, after being ten points away just two league fixtures ago.

Nevertheless, Roberto felt it was a good week overall for his side and that the threat of Real Madrid was inevitable.

"We knew Real Madrid would be up there," he said after Barca's 0-0 draw at Athletic Bilbao.

"Now they have swapped places with Atletico but we are still first and we expect that, until the end of the season, we will maintain our advantage."
