Barcelona fullback Julian Araujo is joining LaLiga new-boys Las Palmas.

The Mexico international joins in a straight loan without a purchase option.

Sport says Barca management want to see Araujo in LaLiga action and whether he can handle the step up.

Araujo joined Barca from LA Galaxy midseason last term, but missed registration before the January deadline fell, so leaving him to only train with the senior squad.

The decision to leave on-loan was on recommendation of coach Xavi.
