Barcelona directors revive plans for Chelsea ace Willian

Barcelona directors are pushing to bring Chelsea ace Willian to Spain this summer.

Off contract in June, Willian has seen negotiations with the Blues stall over the length of contract he wants. Willian is seeking a three-year arrangment, while Chelsea have offered two.

Meanwhile, Barca are reviving their long-term interest, having made an attempt for the attacker after the World Cup.

Barca spy the chance of a bargain signing, knowing Willian would be capable of lifting the quality of their midfield, says Sport.

For his part, Willian has stated he'd be happy to stay with Chelsea, but will not compromise on his contract demands.
