Barcelona defender Eric Garcia on Inter Milan draw: I can't explain it

Barcelona defender Eric Garcia admits they paid for their errors after last night's 3-3 draw with Champions League opponents Inter Milan.

The result leaves Barca facing Champions League elimination.

Barça had led at the break through Ousmane Dembele but a crazy second half followed, with Bayern leading 2-1 and 3-2 before the game ended level.

"The first half went as we wanted, pressing high, creating chances," Garcia said. "We needed to win. We got the goal just before the break.

"We knew we had to go for more. There was a lack of control in those first minutes (after the break), the risk of playing with three at the back, and those 15 minutes killed us.

"We made mistakes that you cannot make at this level. We got the draw in the end, we're still not out, but we know it's complicated. We have to keep going as long as we have hope.

"I don't know how to explain it. I don't know what to say. The first half was as we wanted, but we know that when there is no control, we suffer. Our game is based on covering well."
