Barcelona defender Araujo frustrated: We wanted 3 points

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo insists the title battle remains alive after their 0-0 draw with Atletico Madrid.

Araujo was a substitute against Atletico Madrid and came on for Oscar Mingueza. He almost scored at the start, but Clement Lenglet got in the way and took the ball off his head.

The Uruguayan did well in the goalless draw but was not too happy.

“We are Barca, we have a good team, there are three games to go and we'll fight until the end in La Liga, it seems very difficult but we are close," he told Barca TV.

“I think they were shutting up well at the back. They came out rapidly on the counters with Carrasco and Correa and we tried to stop them and play how we knew.

“It's a shame as we wanted the three points to try and stay in the fight for La Liga, but we have to continue."
