Barcelona have given up on signing Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.

The Netherlands international is out of contract this summer and has long been linked to the Catalan giants.

However, recent media reports in Europe suggested that Paris Saint-Germain had made the best contract offer to Wijnaldum.

Accoridng to respected transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are not raising their offer to match what PSG are proposing.

Romano reports that Wijnaldum will accept PSG's offer of a contract until 2024, which will double his current Liverpool salary.
