Barcelona concerned PSG driving up Kante contract demands

PSG are challenging Barcelona for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.

Sport says the two clubs, who have been feuding for several seasons now, have been torpedoing each other and it is clear to the Blaugrana club that the Parisians are hindering negotiations with Kanté.

Barça have been talking to Kanté for months now, positioning themselves to be at the forefront when the player makes a decision.

The Chelsea midfielder is a top player, with his contract expiring in June, and he will have numerous offers at his disposal.

The Blaugrana are aware that PSG have entered the fray in the last few weeks. Their interest in the player seems to be minimal, with their main aim likely to drive up the player's demands.

Kanté has slowed down his final decision because of his hamstring injury, although he should be back on the pitch in January. Once he is fit, the Frenchman will choose his future club.
