Ez Abde is to stay with Barcelona this season.

The Morocco winger was a second-half substitute for Sunday's 0-0 draw at Getafe.

Barca were considering selling Abde, but he has convinced coach Xavi in preseason, says Sport.

Abde spent last season on-loan with Osasuna and was close to joining Real Betis.

Betis had offered €10m plus 50 per cent of his sell-on fee, but Abde and Barca rejected the proposal.
