Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is delighted for Sporting Gijon after they beat the drop on Sunday.
Enrique, at the end of the LaLiga trophy parade and having heard the news that Sporting Gijón had avoided relegation, uploaded a photo of himself in a Sporting strip to Twitter.
Enrique tweeted: “What a great day! Sporting de Gijón! Congratulations Pitu.”
A direct message for the Barcelona boss’s friend and former team-mate at both Sporting Gijón and Barcelona Abelardo Fernández, currently coach of Sporting.
