Barcelona sports chief Deco admits big money signings will not happen this summer.

And he says Xavi's successor must accept this approach.

Deco told Esport3: "We will not make big signings and the new coach must understand this. We need a coach who knows what Barça is and understands our current reality."

Deco was also asked about whether they could sign PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.

He said, "Selling Frenkie de Jong and (Ronald) Araújo and bringing in Mbappé would be a mistake and would make the team worse."
