Barcelona chief Deco has name-checked Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola when discussing a replacement for Xavi.
As it stands, Xavi will leave Barca at the end of the season.
Asked about the situation, Deco said on Cadena SER: "I didn't want him to say he was leaving, but he made his decision. I already said that his decision hasn't changed yet but there are still things to fight for.
"In football everything changes from one day to the next. If he changes his mind, he will have to tell us. For us he is the ideal coach, always positive, never complains, knows the club's difficulties. History will say that he rebuilt Barça."
Deco continued: "Nothing has been decided, we haven't made any moves but we are paying attention to everything. Obviously I like Luis Enrique, he is a reference at all levels. He is a top manager, like Guardiola and Klopp, but they're not available. Arteta, Iraola Conceiçao...there are many.".
