Barcelona chief Alemany: Carrasco option a good deal

Barcelona sports chief Mateo Alemany insists they're happy with the make-up of Xavi's squad.

Alemany says new additions before the January market shuts is now unlikely.

Asked about the sale of Memphis Depay to Atletico Madrid, Alemany said: "Memphis was a good deal. Xavi already said he was happy with the squad. We're keeping calm in the market. The idea is to stay as we are.

"The option we have on (Yannick) Carrasco was a good operation and is part of the price of the transfer."

On their current form, he also said: "This has been going on for weeks. Two years ago with the draw against Espanyol it seemed the opposite. This confirms the idea and we must remain calm."
