Barcelona captain Leo Messi is ready to return to Argentina national team.

Although there is not yet official confirmation from either national team coach Lionel Scaloni or AFA president Claudio Tapia, Messi is believed to have spoken to the trainer to discuss his intentions.

Messi has not spoken about the issue since Argentina were knocked out of the World Cup by France, but both Scaloni and Tapia were confident in La Pulga's return and asked for calm in the media.

Messi is likely to pull on the Albiceleste jersey once again for matches against Venezuela, in Madrid, and Morocco, in Rabat.
