Barcelona captain Sergi Busquets admits they let themselves down in defeat at Bayern Munich.

Barca were thumped 3-0 to be eliminated from the Champions League.

Busquets said: "We feel very bad right now; this isn't what we wanted and the club and our fans don't deserve this. We're in a tough, difficult situation and it hurts a lot. Many factors have led us to this.

"Of course we feel very frustrated. It hurts a lot but we got into this situation ourselves.

"If we'd got more points, we wouldn't have been in this situation. We didn't play well in the first two games, we got ourselves into this mess and it hurts a lot."
