Barcelona B striker Soriano keen to make Roma move

Barcelona B striker Jonathan Soriano would welcome a move to AS Roma.

Luis Enrique has been appointed as the new Giallorossi Coach and Soriano is one of a number of players that he'd like to sign from his now former club.

"There has been contact," the forward's agent Stefano Caira told Centro Suono Sport.

"The player, who was one of the most important in Enrique's side, is of interest and the boy would be happy with a move to Rome.

"I have spoken to [Roma sporting director Walter] Sabatini about it, but it is just an idea at this moment in time.

"It would be a great move for him, but, I repeat, there is no negotiations taking place presently. It's too soon for that."
