Barcelona attacker Ferran Torres admits he had several chances to join Real Madrid.

Torres joined Barca in January from Manchester City.

“I could've gone to Real Madrid several times," Torres said. “But then we decided that this was not quite the right moment. One offer came when I was at the World Cup and had just established myself at Valencia.

"I think everything went well then. The other three offers came when I was even younger. At this age, it is important to be closer to home. We decided that we need to continue our careers next to our family."
