Barcelona have expressed interest in Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof.

Mundo Deportivo says Barcelona have made enquiries with United over a deal for Lindelof.

Ernesto Valverde wants to add a new central defender this term after seemingly missing out on top target Matthijs de Ligt.

Barca had been in pole position to sign the Dutchman but it now appears he is heading for Juventus.

The Spanish champions contacted United earlier this month to explore a potential deal for Lindelof.

The Swede enjoyed a much-improved second season at Old Trafford after a tricky start following his £31m move from Benfica in 2017.
