Balotelli snaps back at Ibrahimovic after amazing dressing down: You were afraid at Man Utd!

Former Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli has hit back at criticism from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic criticised Balotelli, now with Adana Demirspor, for failing to take the chances he was granted during is career.

The Swede spoke about 'Super Mario' comparing his career with that of Rafael Leao, of AC Milan.

"When a child has the opportunity to exploit his talent and misses opportunities, it's a shame. Balotelli had many opportunities and he didn't use a single one. There are many, outside, who would like to have at least one and won't get it. He lost them all," said Zlatan.

"This is the truth. Leao? They are not even comparable... The Portuguese on the field, Mario in the stands."

In response, Balotelli reminded Ibrahimovic he won the Treble with Inter a year after the Swede left for Barcelona.

"In Manchester you were afraid and I wanted to win (on the field). The following year we won the Champions League anyway, but Zlatan, I still love you," he posted online.

Balotelli was referring to Inter's defeat against Manchester United in the 2008/09 season, when both shared the pitch.
