Nottingham Forest new signing Andre Ayew is delighted to be back in the Premier League.
Ayew, who left Qatari club Al Sadd by mutual agreement, was signed after deadline day by Forest on a free transfer.
While he also had the choice of going to Everton, Ayew believes that Forest was the ideal destination.
"No comment on clubs," he stated about other interest in him, per Nottinghamshire Live.
“There were a few, whether in England or outside, I don't like to say names.
“There were other offers around, but it was easy for me to choose to come here. To be back in the Premier League, it's a great feeling. But there's so much work to be done, you can't get carried away.
“I'm happy to be back in the Premier League at an historic club and ready to do a job for the team, to get us to where we all want to be, which is Premier League status for next season."
