Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind is bucking the trend of Premier League footballers by answering his fan mail himself!

The Dutchman, 24, gets dozens of letters a week from across the globe. And he reads each one and replies with a signed photo in a hand-written envelope.

A source told the Mirror: "Daley takes his responsibility to fans very seriously.

"Some players don't get round to taking their letters home or ask someone in the office to reply to a few.

"But Daley reads the lot. That's brilliant and shows how humble he is.

"Reading letters from fans keeps the players honest."

The footballer recently posted a snap of his fan mail on Facebook and wrote: "Got some really nice letters from all over the world."
