The form of Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is helping keep manager Unai Emery in his job.
The London Evening Standard says Aubameyang's fine form under Emery is among the reasons the Gunners have decided not to sack the Spaniard.
It's described as being 'credit in the bank' for the 47-year-old, whose position remains under threat.
Arsenal have toiled under his watch of late, winning just one of their last five matches.
During that time they've slipped to defeats to Liverpool and Sheffield United, as well as drawing with Crystal Palace and Wolves.
Yet Aubameyang's goalscoring exploits are keeping Emery at the helm for the time being.
Another factor in the Spaniard's favour is the good performances of Matteo Guendouzi and Bukayo Saka.
