Athletic Bilbao striker Gorka Guruzeta has played down his goalscoring success.

Guruzeta scored twice in victory over Real Valladolid this week.

A record of one goal every 40 minutes now compares with the data of Manchester City star Erling Haaland.

He said, "It's data, Haaland has many more goals than me, it's bull***t and I welcome all the goals I can score.

“In the end, all of us who are in the squad prepared, today I was lucky enough to score two goals. I'm going to continue training well and we'll see."
