Athletic Bilbao president Jon Uriarte says he's happy with the team's progress.

In European contention and the semifinals of the Copa del Rey, Uriarte is pleased with the young team's development.

"We're on the right track, but we haven't achieved anything yet," said the president.

"We still have to do the most difficult part, which is managing expectations and maintaining this winning DNA."

He added: "We haven't won the Copa for 40 years and it's not fair to put that responsibility on the current generation of players."
