Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde says they face Atletico Madrid with confidence in the Copa del Rey semifinal tonight.

Athletic will host the clash at San Mames.

Valverde said: "We don't change much from one game to the next. It's true that there are times when the opponent imposes themselves and it's difficult to contain them. Generally our way of playing is very similar and I don't think we see any differences.

"We adapt to the strengths of the opponent, which is obvious. What it's about is having the skill to handle the situations that arise in a game. Within a game there are many games to interpret.

"The Copa is given importance everywhere. We are facing a match that we wanted to play at the beginning of the season. There is always pressure in football. I don't think there is excessive pressure and among us no one thinks of anything other than this match with Atlético.

"If you want to crash just because... We are facing an extraordinary rival and I don't have the gift of infallibility, which is the beauty of football."
