Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde was pleased with their 3-0 Copa del Rey win at Eibar.

Valverde was happy with the way they handed their Segunda Division opponents.

He said: "We got things on track very well in the first half. It has been a very strong start although we haven't been very good in the game, with many errors and losses without pressure. We have hit them very hard because we are in a positive inertia. In the second half we were better.

"I always hope they score goals when they enter the area. The important thing is to be forceful in both areas and we always try. I don't have to be surprised that my players score goals.

"We are still in the Cup, we continue with the good feeling of winning and that they don't score a goal either. Right now we are in a good moment and we have to think about Real and Saturday."
