Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde was pleased with their 0-0 draw against Almeria last night.

Valverde concedes Almeria pushed them all the way, despite propping up the LaLiga table.

He said: "We have won a point because in the last play we could have lost the game. We are fifth and we see those in front, but we always have to play at a very high pace, be very psyched, play very on top of the rival and have football, which is something we haven't had today.

"We haven't been comfortable from the beginning and we've had a lot of unforced errors. It's not enough for us, but it's fair.

"We have to fight a lot in this League. We are like the other teams, apart from those at the top. We are like those behind us and those who are much further down. We have to fight a lot and be very sharp in each game. There is a lot left to do fight and if we are not higher it is because those who are higher are better.
